![]() Dodge, dash, and slash through machine-like enemies. Classic side-scrolling action with all the modern trimmings. Let's take a peek at the game's core features: Limited to just 4,000 copies, the game will launch via the official Super Rare Games website on July 20th, 2023 at 6pm BST / 10am PT / 1pm ET and will come loaded with bespoke new art, a reversible cover, a full-colour manual, an exclusive sticker, trading cards, and a map of Arcadia. Or something along those lines.Super Rare Games has announced that it is launching a physical edition of Haiku the Robot, the 2022 Metroidvania from developer and publisher Mister Morris Games. The betrayed one is the only that saw the big picture and understood that robots will essentially need organic life to replenish certain resources, if I had to guess. With the remaining creators destroyed, the original programming of the betrayed creator is no longer subjugated by their lackeys or them and life flowers anew, *maybe* saving what little remains of humanity, but who knows? The point is, the true ending essentially comes down to the betrayed creator's mission being fulfilled, meaning that robots and organic life finally coexist and maybe even flourish together, while the other creators were merely tasked with looking only after robots and only in their specific areas. Humanity wiped itself off the surface pretty much (the huge hole in bunker is certainly not a sign of the virus as your detective friend points out). The way I understood it, the 3 creators betrayed the 4th by introducing the virus, backfiring and infecting them and all of arcadia in return, ultimately precipitating the downfall of the remnants of humanity, since the betrayed creator is the one in charge of protecting what little organic life remains. I get the sword is called "the kill switch" which would be something to end a process, but I'm not following what the markings on the sword are, or what the black virus goop is supposed to be It's a self created law that determines that humanity must be saved from itself, so it overrides the first of not harming humans) Were the three Processors the cause of the virus? Did they create it? Or was the virus their way of destroying humanity in some sort of Zeroth law situation? (The Zeroth law is a play on Isaac Asimovs 3 laws of robotics. You then fight the 3 processors, they die, and the sword fades away to the hilt. Viewing the archive (which mentions that you can never hide the truth forever) shows 3 processor units looking down at a 4th, and a black mass engulfs then all. He then gets absorbed into the sword and causes the black mark to turn back to yellow / white. He deduces that he's some sort of anti-virus program / robot because he came into existence when the virus did. If you replay the file, Verse tells you to meet him at the archive. Defeating it makes a black mark on the sword. ![]() I question 5 because the virus is also a similar unit. There were 4 (5?) processors, the 3 you free to unlock the mainframe and another tucked away in the giant tree. Haiku (you) is apparently immune to the virus, for some reason. The story is pretty bare ones, but from what I've gathered is that humanity died in some unknown apocalypse and robots just kept pushing on. ![]()
